WHAT ARE YOUR RELIGIOUS QUESTIONS? Don’t forget to submit your questions by August 1. You may email your questions to church@congoroch.org or in writing to Rev. Meyer in the church office. Rev. Meyer will answer and/or explain submitted questions from the congregation during a 10-week program that will meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. during September 15 – November 17.
MEMORIAL GARDEN UPDATE The Memorial Garden has been vandalized 6 times during the summer. A police report has been filed and the police have said they will patrol the area more often. The damage has been enough that the fountain needs large parts to be replaced. While we were looking into this problem, we have noticed that the garden is in need of some TLC. Our garden is now 15 years old and we ask for your patience and caring consideration as we plan these repairs and upkeep.
JOIN US FOR DINNER! Dinner Group will be starting its fifth year and we are hoping both former participants and new members will be eager to sign up. If you are looking to become better acquainted with the members of our church, please consider joining. By signing up, you will be invited to join a group of eight for four monthly evenings of casual fellowship and good food in a member’s home. The host serves the entrée and beverages, and the guests bring the salad, vegetable and dessert. Adult couples and singles are welcome to participate. New dinner groups will be formed over the summer so please sign up in the Narthex or call the church office. You will receive your grouping and more information in August.

QUILTING PROJECT GOES TO DENVER Four women from our church were “Part of the Big Picture” as they participated in a quilting project for Judi's House, a grief support center in Denver, CO. One therapy group activity is to create a block in loving memory of their lost loved one. The blocks are then put together in a quilt.
